Today is October 1st, which means the beginning of breast cancer awareness month. Every month around the 15th, I try to post instructions on how to conduct a self-exam of your breasts. Those of you who have been on my f-list for a while know that last year was very rough for me. I lost my beloved grandpa in April, and in July my aunt Patty was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a lumpectomy, chemo and radiation, her cancer is now in remission. Thanks to all the advances in research, and with early detection, she’s doing great ( Read more... )
